School Cover Administrator
  • Salary Range: £21,499 - £22,935
  • Location: Slough
  • Job Type: Term Time Only, plus four inset days

We are seeking a dedicated School Cover Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cover arrangements for staff absences and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the school. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Coordinating cover for absent teachers and organising timetables accordingly.
  • Liaising with supply agencies and staff to arrange cover.
  • Managing administrative tasks related to cover, including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and materials as needed.
  • Providing front desk support and handling queries from staff, students, and visitors.
  • Ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using school management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
