SC Cleared Senior Front-end Developer

We are looking for an SC Cleared Senior Front End Developer to join one of our public sector clients.

• Rate: up to £475 per day
• Outside IR35
• Duration: ASAP - 31/03/26 (extensions likely)
• Location: UK
• Travel: Remote
• Active SC Clearance

Experience:

? Develop features and services using Express.js and TypeScript

? Build accessible, performant, and user-centred interfaces using the GOV.UK Design System and Nunjucks templates

? Integrate with and consume internal and external RESTful APIs, handling authentication, error states, and data validation

? Collaborate closely with the User-Centred Design (UCD) team - including user researchers, designers and content - to iterate user journeys and translate user insights into production-ready features

? Contribute to meeting GDS Service Standard and Service Assessment criteria through accessibility, usability, and performance best practices

? Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and Cypress

? Participate in code reviews, share technical knowledge, and support continuous improvement of development processes
