Job Description

KeyResponsibilities

• Perform end-to-end installationand configuration of SAP BODS software across various environments(development, testing, and production).
  
• Set up and configure SAP BODSrepositories, job servers, and access servers.
  
• Collaborate with infrastructureteams to ensure compatibility of hardware, operating systems, anddatabases for SAP BODS installations.
  
• Troubleshoot installationissues and provide resolutions to ensure system stability andfunctionality.
  
• Conduct performance tuning andoptimization of the SAP BODS environment for maximum efficiency.
  
• Implement security protocolsand access controls for SAP BODS systems.
  
• Provide documentation forinstallation procedures, configurations, and system architecture.
  
• Assist in upgrades, patches,and migrations of SAP BODS systems while ensuring minimal downtime.
  
• Monitor and maintain the SAPBODS environment, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively.
  
• Work closely with developmentand data teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP BODS with othersystems and applications.
  
• Stay updated with the latestSAP BODS installation techniques, best practices, and tools.
  

Requirements

Required Skills andQualifications

• Proven experience in installingand configuring SAP BODS across multiple environments.
  
• Strong understanding of SAPBODS architecture, components, and system requirements.
  
• Proficiency in databasetechnologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA) and their integrationwith SAP BODS.
  
• Familiarity with operatingsystems such as Windows and Linux for SAP BODS installations.
  
• Experience with SAP systems(e.g., SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA) and their integration with SAP BODS.
  
• Strong troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills related to installation and configuration issues.
  
• Excellent documentation skillsfor installation procedures and system configurations.
  
• Ability to work independentlyand collaboratively in a team environment.
  

PreferredQualifications

• SAP BODS certification ishighly desirable.
  
• Experience with SAP DataServices upgrades and migrations.
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for SAP BODS deployments.
  
• Familiarity with virtualizationtechnologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  
• Understanding of networkconfigurations and firewalls related to SAP BODS installations.
