Reporting to: VP Sales
Key Responsibilities:Own and proactively drive new logo acquisition across the buy side, sell side, issuers and other fi nancial institutions throughout the UK and EMEA.
Develop and execute a targeted hunting strategy focused on identifying, prospecting, and closing new clients in highly competitive markets.
Engage C-level executives and key decision-makers with a consultative, value-driven approach that clearly di ff erentiates big xyt.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with agility, persistence, and strategic insight.
Represent big xyt at client meetings, industry events and trade shows.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and o ff er solutions aligned to emerging market needs.
Provide timely, market-driven feedback to in fl uence product development and re fi ne go-to-market tactics.
Skills and Requirements:
Proven track record as a new business hunter within FinTech or capital markets technology, consistently exceeding aggressive sales targets by securing new logos.
Established C-suite relationships across buy-side and sell-side institutions; comfortable building rapport with senior stakeholders.
Highly entrepreneurial mindset ideally with demonstrated success in a fast-paced scale-up or startup environment, able to drive results autonomously.
Expert in full sales cycle management - from prospecting and lead quali fi cation through to negotiation and closing.
Experience selling SaaS platforms or data-driven FinTech solutions preferred.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning, and their application in regulated fi nancial services environments.
Self-starter with high energy, resilience, and a relentless drive to hunt new business.
