Requirements Engineer

One of the most exciting and well know names in the industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Requirements/System engineer to join the top defence and nuclear companies in the UK.

• Job Role - Requirements/Systems Engineer
• Location - Reading (Hybrid)
• Contract Length - 12 months
• Pay Rates - £600 a day (INSIDE IR35)

I am looking to speak with requirements/Systems engineers that are coming from a nuclear or defence background and have a strong knowledge base at working on some of the most complex engineering challenges in the industry.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver on the client specific documentation for the entire major client programme.
• Understand how to elicit, analyse and translate stakeholder needs in to technical requirements and communicate effectively
• Comply with the audits, licensing/authorization conditions and legislation
• Validation of the requirements and client specific needs
• Be responsible for the creation, management and validation of the Project Requirements

Required Systems Used:

• DOORS
• Meridian
• SharePoint
• Microsoft/Adobe

Required Skills:

• City and guilds/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in related technical discipline
• Background in requirements or systems engineering with experience in writing or managing requirement documentation.
• Knowledge and understanding of nuclear licensed sites
