Job overview We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
There are 20 beds on this ward and you will gain experience in caring for critically ill adults in an innovative, challenging and aspirational workplace.

Main duties of the job The successful candidate will manage the ventilated, haemofiltered, and cardiovascularly compromised patient initially under supervision, whilst developing professionally, utilising competency based Knowledge & Skills Framework (KSF) leading to autonomy of care when proficient, in conjunction with further development of management skills.
You will provide support to Nurse Team Leaders and Managers in the training and development of less senior staff.
The post holder will demonstrate proficiency in the management of acutely unwell and deteriorating patients who are nursed outside the critical care setting, i.e. the Recovery and Emergency Department.
You will be fully informed about changes in Critical Care Outreach and update professional knowledge to meet the requirements for revalidation.
You will also manage and deliver patient care to the highest standard utilising a holistic research based model and including patient and relative involvement.
