Quality Assurance Analyst

Quality Assurance Analyst sought to join the IT department of an award-winning, national recruitment agency group as they continue to expand their digital presence across multiple brands.This hands-on role is permanent, full-time based onsite at the company's Meriden office.As Quality Assurance Analyst, your key duties will include:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies
• Review and analyse requirements and specifications
• Design, create, and maintain test cases and scripts
• Perform test case reviews and provide feedback
• Identify, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks
• Analyse test results and report on software quality
• Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including test environment setup and maintenance

The successful Quality Assurance Analyst will demonstrate:

• Experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies
• Ability to lead and mentor a QA team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with test automation tools is desirable
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing would be beneficial
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies is desirable
