Job Description:
As a PM I in the AMXL Supply Chain team, you will have the opportunity to solve business and customer-centric problems to improve the efficiency, cost, and speed of fulfillment for the Heavy & Bulky channel. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across business and operations verticals to solve complex technical problems, preferably with simple but scalable solutions.

Supply Chain managers take customer anecdotes seriously, are data-driven, and create & leverage mechanisms to develop scalable solutions that eliminate ambiguities. They are comfortable working in teams with advanced analytical, mathematical, and quantitative requirements.

Basic qualifications
1. At least 4 years of experience in a top-tier company driving programs or projects.
2. Supply Chain background is preferable but not mandatory. We hire for core skills, not specializations.
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar.
4. Ability to understand operational concepts of customer order flow across all miles with different volume and demand patterns.
5. Able to manage a business that operates 24/7 and commit the necessary time to complete tasks.
6. Business analysis and partnership skills to work with Amazon teams like AFT, SME, and Operations leaders to develop operational opportunities.
7. Regularly monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement to optimize process consistency, cost, and customer experience.
8. Ability to handle ambiguity, make high-confidence assumptions, or seek help/elevate discussions as needed to deliver results.
9. Ability to support narratives and decisions with data.
10. High ownership, self-motivation, and backbone to stand up for what is right versus what is easy or comfortable. Ability to function independently with limited guidance.
11. Ability to work with varied stakeholders, earn their trust, and influence up to +1 level without authority using data and facts.
12. Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse, and Excel.

Preferred qualifications
1. Strong presentation skills, capable of independently presenting narratives and handling Q&A from stakeholders in open forums.
2. Proficiency in VBA Macro, Quicksight or related dashboard tools, Python, R, etc.
3. Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on data orientation and brevity.
4. Direct work experience in e-commerce, warehousing, or delivery station operations.
