Flexitricity believes that adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and heat pumps by domestic electricity customersis creatingbothasubstantialchallengeforelectricitynetworkoperatorsandalargenew flexible resource.We also believe that an equivalent flexible resource exists in the day-to-day electricity consumption of many industrial, commercial and public-sector organisations.
WecreatedandarecurrentlylaunchingourFlexGOproduct,tocreatevalueforelectricity customers in responding to the availability of green power and stress in energy systems.The Product Development Lead is the key person making this happen.
Maternity leave cover is required for the current Product Development Lead, for a period of approximately twelve months from December 2025.The successful applicant will take responsibility for the immediate post-launch phase of FlexGO.We expect that this will be a dynamicandexciting timetobeintherole,workingwithanexisting, highlymotivatedteamto deliver a transformative product into the electricity market.
Key Responsibilities- Cross-functionalworkingtoensureFlexGOremainsontrackwhilemaintainingqualityof delivery and customer satisfaction as volumes grow.
- WorkingwithIT,Data,Commercial,Operations,Engineering,SupplyandFinanceteamsto ensure successful launch of scalable systems to onboard a wide variety of electricity consumer types into FlexGO;
- LaunchingagrowingmixofelectricityloadsintotheFlexGOenvironment,potentially including:
- ClustersofdomesticandcommercialfleetEVchargepoints;
- Industrialcooling,refrigeration,compressionandpumping;
- Commercialheating,ventilationandairconditioning;
- Large-scaleheatpumps;
- Behind-the-meterenergystoragesystems;
- Managingdeliveryofacompletesolutionforsettlingflexibleenergyvolumesbymetering directly at the individual flexible asset, liaising between device manufacturers, industry bodies and test laboratories.
- Fulfilothermanagerialduties,alongwithanyotherreasonablerequestsfromyourLine Manager or Senior Management as required for benefit of the company.
Degree(orequivalent)inarelatedsubject,ordemonstrableexperience.
