We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Munich, Germany

We are a fast-paced organization transforming into a global leader. As Procurement Manager - Fruit Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sourcing strategy, developing supplier partnerships, and driving both tactical and strategic procurement excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plansfor fruit categories.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationshipsacross our global supply base.
  • Manage all supplier communication, including claims, order fulfillment, and performance.
  • Conduct tactical sourcing, ensuring accurate ordering through stock evaluation.
  • Negotiate and monitor prices and contractsto deliver value.
  • Drive supplier developmentinitiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, forecast changes, and provide insights to guide decisions.
  • Work closely with the European Procurement teamand cross-functional stakeholders.
Essential
  • Solid experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally in food, agriculture, or FMCG.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Hands-on experience in tactical procurement(ordering, claims, stock management).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to anticipate market shifts.
Desirable
  • Previous experience working with Avocados would be great
  • Fluency in other languages (German, Dutch, French etc) is highly beneficial
