Private Client Partner - Head of Department Nottingham strong firm

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Partner to lead and further develop a highly regarded Private Client team within a respected full-service law firm based in Nottingham.

This is a strategic appointment that offers both leadership and autonomy within a firm known for its strong regional presence, collegiate culture, and ambitious growth plans.

The Role

As Head of Private Client, you'll take the reins of a well-established team, overseeing a broad range of high-quality private client work including wills, trusts, tax planning, probate, and estate administration. You'll play a key role in driving the department forward-mentoring talented lawyers, developing client relationships, and helping shape the long-term direction of the practice.

This is a genuine leadership role suited to someone with both technical excellence and a commercial mindset. You'll have the freedom to grow and mould the team, supported by an innovative and forward-thinking partnership.

About You
  • You'll be an experienced Private Client Partner or Senior Associate ready to step up into a leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise across a broad range of private client matters, ideally with a focus on HNW clients.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, business development, and client relationship management.
  • A motivated, personable individual who enjoys leading from the front and building a cohesive, high-performing team.
  • STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards it would be advantageous.
