Platform Engineer - DevOps

DevOps Engineer required to join a public sector client based in the UK, for a 6 month engagement + view to extend, offering excellent rates.

Onsite presence will be required 2 days per week, commutable distance from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Shrewsbury, Stoke-on Trent.

Required skills & responsibilities -

• Hands on experience with SQL Schema deployment & management
• A good understanding of VME, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Windows and SQL
• The ability to troubleshoot & resolve issues in VME, Weblogic and Host Talk
• Experience on Unix/WebLogic housekeeping tasks.
• Experience with handover packages & running upgrades to maintain development & test environments.
• Must have Security Clearence
