We are currently recruiting a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads and afternoon tea items.
• Support the culinary management team in maintaining exceptional food standards.
• Ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently for daily service and menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with all health & safety and HACCP procedures.
• Contribute creative ideas for seasonal desserts and pastry offerings.
• Ensure consistency in presentation, taste and portion control.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent guest expereinces.

Key Requirements:

• Culinary Qualification or 4-5 years experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume kitchen enviroment preferred.
• Passionate, creative and detail oriented with high fodd standards.
• Strong skills in pastry, plated desserts, breads and cake operations.
• Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
• The ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work early and late shifts including weekends.
• A good command of the English Language.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
