Nursery Deputy Manager

Tiny Tots Nursery are looking for experienced, creative and enthusiastic, qualified Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team in our lovely, setting in Cirencester. The hours will be 7.30 till 6 covering either 3 or 4 days a week (must include Wed, Thu and Fri).

We will support you giving you the training and mentoring required for you to flourish in this new role. We are looking for a deputy manager who are dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use their initiative and time-manage their day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our nursery and above all have a passion for working with children.

You will be someone who is mature in outlook, experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond, as well as

Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities.
Supervising children at indoor and outdoor play and ensuring their safety and security.
Supporting and assisting peers in planning and delivering the EYFS.
Ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child's progress.

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and knowledge:
Experience working with children birth to 5 years
Hold a minimum L3 childcare qualification
Ability to develop and deliver an engaging activity plan in accordance to the EYFS
Ability to communicate with children and parents
Work well within a team
Basic IT skills

Pay dependant on qualifications and experience.
