Second Chef

The Second Chef supports the Head Chef in delivering high quality, nutritious meals for residents, taking responsibility for the kitchen operation when the Head Chef is absent.

• Lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
• Develop and menu design, including diet sensitive and nutritional plans.
• Stock control and adherence to food cost guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health and Safety, and NHS standards.
• Train, supervise and develop kitchen staff to maximise their potential.

Domestic

The Domestic ensures the care home and residents are kept clean, safe and comfortable.

• Cleaning all areas of the care home, following infection control policies.
• Respecting privacy of residents and maintaining a warm atmosphere.

Care Team Leader

The Care Team Leader supervises the care shift, ensuring residents get well planned care and support.

• Leadership and supervision of the care team.
• Case management of residents, coordinating with families and health professionals.
• Administer medication and record health data.
• Risk assessment and development of care plans.
• Maintain professional, inclusive and hospitable environment.

Deputy Manager

The Deputy Manager supports the home manager in delivering evidence based, person centred care.

• Leadership and supervision of a unit, delegating tasks effectively.
• Ensure residents' medical, physical and emotional needs are met.
• Oversee admissions, physical/psychological risk assessments and care plans.
• Set and review staff performance and engagement.
• Daily staffing, budgets and operational management.

Registered General Nurse

The Registered General Nurse leads on clinical matters and supports staff and residents with complex needs.

• Deliver outstanding leadership for nursing staff.
• Provide clinical nursing care, including medication management.
• Implement infection prevention and control, wound care, catheter management.
• Drive clinical excellence and development of tailored care plans.
