Job Description
NHS Grampian eRostering Programme - eRostering Officer (Band 4)

Location: Summerfield House, Aberdeen. Contract: Fixed term or secondment until 31st March 2026. Hours: up to 36 weeks, minimum 21.5 weeks. Preferred: 30 hours or more.

Overview

An opportunity to join the NHS Grampian eRostering Team to support the use of the Optima system, contributing to the Agenda for Change Non Pay Reforms. Postholders will perform system administration duties, electronic roster configuration, reporting and other related tasks, working to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Support eRostering aspects of the Agenda for Change Non Pay Reforms.
  • Administer the Optima system, configure electronic rosters and produce reports.
  • Collate and analyse system data to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate closely with eRostering, Bank and Central Rostering teams, and staff and managers in service areas.
  • Use Excel, MS Teams and other relevant systems, communicating proactively with all users and stakeholders.
  • Travel across NHS Grampian sites as required and undertake duties at various sites.
  • Maintain a hybrid work arrangement (home and on site).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and able to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Commitment to delivering excellence in a small but supportive and dynamic team.
  • Proficiency with Excel, MS Teams and related systems.
  • Availability to start by 5th January 2026.
