Marine Project Manager

Our Project Management team are critical to the business as the main interface between us and our customers co-ordinating and expediting all aspects of projects including planning, managing budgets, coordinating the team and ensuring successful delivery
This role is 100% site-based, working closely with both internal teams and our customer managing complex, fast-paced marine projects

So what will you do?- You'll take full ownership of multi-million-pound marine projects, from the initial estimating, design and planning stages through to final delivery, ensuring all technical, financial, and stakeholder requirements are met
- You'll manage and coordinate all stakeholders by developing and executing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budget management
- You'll facilitate communication and collaboration while monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
- You'll ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications providing regular project updates and reports to your senior leadership team and our clients.
- An Engineering qualification - preferably in mechanical engineering or similar with solid project management experience in ship repair, defence, or a marine engineering environment
- Someone who thrives in a busy, boots-on-the-ground setting - not behind a desk
- Confidence in working day to day with senior stakeholders, including your customer
- Eligibility for MOD security clearance is essential
- Competency using MS Office and planning tools eg MS Project / Primavera or similar
- Procurement and budget management skills including data analysis, excel and management reporting capability with accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong planner and organiser comfortable making decisions to meet targets

You must also undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
