Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A standout opportunity has become available for a high-performing Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing facility in Chester. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and minimising downtime across the site.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience (electrical and mechanical) within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced production setting

Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Recognised electrical and/or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent)li>
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Experience within the UK manufacturing sector
• 17th/18th Edition (if electrical bias is strong)
