Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing
We're working with a leading food manufacturer to recruit a talented Maintenance Engineer at their growing site. This is a day-based role working Monday to Friday, 9-5, but they are willing to be flexible on times to suit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help minimise equipment downtime.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards across operations.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
• Experience as a maintenance engineer within a food or FMCG environment.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (mechanical or electrical).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices. Salary £40,000 - £45,000
