What we are looking for: Interim Head of Corporate CDD Hub UK- Executive Director 9-12 Months. Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days/week in office)We're looking for a seasoned leader of leaders with deep expertise in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) within the corporate domain. You'll bring a proven track record of building high-performing teams, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and driving both engagement and results. This role requires strong indirect leadership capabilities and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment. The Function & Role: The Corporate CDD Hub UK is responsible for client on boarding and ensuring that Customer Due Diligence is complete and up to date for Rabobank Wholesale Europe & Africa (E&A) clients.The Head of Corporate CDD Hub UK is responsible for the management of staff, processes and objectives within that department, ensuring robust compliance with regulatory requirements while enabling commercial effectiveness. You will lead a high performing team, drive continuous improvement and act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the business.FEC W&R Operations Europe is responsible for providing Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring, First Line Monitoring, Name screening and Transaction Filtering services for all W&R Clients in Region Europe & Africa and for FI Clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Set the strategy of the Corporate CDD Hub UK in line with the strategic goals of the FEC Domain and FEC W&R Operations Europe. Responsible for planning the aims, objectives and priorities of their work area. Ensure new customers are on-boarded within agreed timelines and to the required quality standards. Ensure that all E&A clients have up-to-date CDD by performing periodic reviews and other administrative tasks associated with Customer Due Diligence. Ensure that the Group Standards on Customer Due Diligence (CDD) are applied to all Region E&A clients. Ensure all global and departmental procedures are adhered to and that any changes in procedure are communicated and implemented. Monitoring and reporting CDD status to various stakeholder groups, compiling and circulating departmental MI as required. Collaborate with senior leadership & stakeholders across Region E&A. Take ownership of own performance and development, including leadership and management skills. Support staff in Lean and Continuous Improvement to drive process improvements and efficiencies. Contribute to global projects and initiatives relating to CDD and associated matters. Take ownership of control findings and actions relating to the department, ensuring that findings and incidents are registered and actioned in accordance with the Global Standard. Monitoring departmental costs on a monthly basis, ensuring that costs are utilised as intended and within budget. Strong focus on delivering to internal customers by adhering to the Service Catalogue and the KPI's documented in the relevant SLA's and OLA's. Strategic Leadership Responsibilities: Contribution to the continuous improvement of Corporate CDD Hub. Partner across teams to drive innovation. Provide structure, direction and purpose to the team. Provide clear guidance, instruction, advice and coaching for the job. Develop, coach and encourage staff using appreciative enquiry. Manage performance. Set clear expectations for quality, accuracy and timeliness of work expected from your team. Skills & Personal Attributes: Deep understanding of the regulatory requirements in relation to Customer Due Diligence. Proven leadership experience in CDD, AML, or Financial Crime within a banking or financial services. Experience in remediation delivery and transitioning teams into a Business-as-Usual (BAU) environment, ideally gained within banking or financial services. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to operational excellence. Experience managing teams across multiple locations highly desirable. High integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. Commercially focused, operationally strong, and strategically responsive. Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Professional acumen, credibility, and trustworthiness.
