Interim FP&A Analyst - Truro, CornwallDay Rate: £300-£400 (Depending on experience)
Contract: 6 months - potentially longer.
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Hays are seeking an experienced and analytical Interim FP&A Analyst to join a growing organisation in Truro. This is a key role created due to recent business expansion, offering the opportunity to make a real impact by improving financial processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing our business intelligence capabilities, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional with a passion for data and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the business intelligence database by consolidating data from multiple sources.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across financial systems.

Conduct statistical analysis and interpret key performance metrics to generate actionable insights.

Translate complex data into clear, meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.

Design and deliver compelling reports, dashboards, and visual presentations using Excel and Power BI.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed financial analysis.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes and analysis techniques.

Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in FP&A or a similar financial analysis role.

Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI (ideally but not essential).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.

Available to start immediately and commit to a minimum 6-month.

Comfortable working 3 days per week on-site in Truro.
