Location: Liverpool (Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site)

Rate: £560/day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 3 months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to join our team for a 3-month contract. The primary focus of this role is to prototype a new E-learning solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, designed to train caseworkers effectively. Your work will ensure usability, accessibility, security, and performance align as closely as possible with the current Dynamics 365 system.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prototype an E-learning solution that mirrors Dynamics 365 functionality.

Apply iterative design principles and agile methodologies throughout the project life cycle.

Ensure compliance with W3C Web Standards and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility guidelines.

Use and iterate design patterns and components to deliver a consistent user experience.

Collaborate with stakeholders to refine designs based on research and feedback.

Essential Skills Experience

Strong proficiency in Axure RP for prototyping, along with solid Front End skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Proven track record of working within public sector projects or environments aligned to GDS standards.

Ability to apply agile and iterative design approaches, refining solutions through continuous feedback and research cycles.

Skilled in leveraging and adapting design patterns and reusable components to maintain consistency.

In-depth understanding of web accessibility and usability standards, including WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and W3C guidelines.

Desirable Skills

Awareness of the challenges and workflows in casework-focused environments, ideally within government or regulatory bodies.

Hands-on experience or familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms.

Previous involvement in projects adhering to Government Digital Service (GDS) principles and best practices.
