We have an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the UK's energy future. As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we're supporting the construction of Sizewell C, a state of the art nuclear power station that will provide low carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

What will you be doing?

• Communicating and implementing the HSW strategy.
• Building solid relationships with stakeholders and delivering on customer strategic and tactical requirements.
• Leading and managing the HSW team, including supporting the Performance Development Review (PDR) process.
• Undertaking Health and Safety compliance evaluations, tours, and audits.
• Identifying and ranking risk associated with CWA work activities.
• Preparing fact driven reports following inspections, tours, audits and investigations.
• Supporting the implementation of and ensuring compliance with the Sizewell C (SZC) project standards and the CWA Safety Management System (SMS).

What do you need to succeed?

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
• Detailed, technical knowledge and experience in Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and guidance.
• Experience of working on Major Infrastructure Projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (or working towards).
• NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.

What would make your application stand out?
