Job Title: Head of Quality

Location: National

Salary: up to £60,000 + Benefits

Type: Full Time, Permanent

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading training organisation who is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Quality.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the effective management of quality across the business nationally, and implementation of quality management processes, to meet awarding bodies requirements for Apprenticeship delivery.

Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience of working at Head of Quality level, leading and driving quality standards within a national ITP.
  • Experience of managing the quality delivery of Health and Social Care Apprenticeships.
  • Hold relevant Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Awards (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
  • Possess competency and/or qualifications within Health and Social Care / Clinical Care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience with Ofsted inspections.
  • Experience of working closely with Awarding Organisations and EPAOs.
  • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle
  • Must be flexible with national travel
Duties include
  • Hold overall responsibility for quality improvement across the organisation's apprenticeship provision, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Lead on curriculum development and enhancement, embedding innovative and evidence-based approaches to delivery and assessment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through robust quality assurance processes, data analysis, and effective action planning.
  • Responsible for completing Self-Assessments and Quality Improvement Plans across the business, managing the quality assurance strategy and implementation of the quality learner journey.
  • Lead on all quality inspections from external agencies (Ofsted/Awarding Bodies)
  • Manage IQA processes and ensure that quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted, AO and EPAO requirements.
  • Coach and develop the team to improve performance overall
  • Producing regular reports for Directors / Key Stakeholders on funding and quality performance across the business.
