The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to lead a busy and successful prestige main dealership in the Guildford area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader to take full ownership of a high-performing sales operation, driving results, inspiring a motivated team, and delivering a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales department, overseeing new and used vehicle performance
• Drive sales, profit, and F&I targets through effective leadership and KPI management
• Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales and business management teams
• Manage budgets, stock levels, and showroom presentation for maximum efficiency
• Ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding retail experience aligned with a prestige brand
• Work closely with senior management to deliver strategic business objectives

About You

• Proven track record as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within the automotive sector
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Commercially astute with solid financial understanding
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities
• Results-focused and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
