OVERVIEW

Harnham are working with a household name telecom company exclusively. As they look to migrate onto the cloud, they are looking for a FinOps Specialist to join their team which focus on working with the engineering teams and stakeholders to make sure they are leveraging the financial potential of the cloud thorough economic management.

THE COMPANY

This household name telecom company are one of the largest providers of telecom services and operate globally across 100+ countries.

THE ROLE

As a FinOps Specialist, you will: Manage relationships with stakeholders, engineers and finance business partners. Consistently monitor cloud spend and liaise with engineers to implement efficient optimisation strategies. Construct plans, forecasts and budgets on cloud consumption.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with Python, SQL and Terraform to implement automated cost optimisation control policies. Experience building and managing cloud cost analysis & visualisations using tools like Looker, Qlik, MS Excel, Tableau or any other similar tools. Understanding of Cloud fundamentals in a FinOps context to manage Cloud budget, forecasts and spend monitoring.SALARY Up to £72,000 + benefits.
