English Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Secondary School in Pontesbury, Shropshire. They are looking to a recruit a Teacher of English to cover a maternity leave in Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will also be required to teach some KS3 Religious Education. You would also be required to be a Form Tutor to an assigned group of students. The role is due to begin in January 2025, however could begin earlier.

The role is suitable for both experience teachers or ECT who are new to teaching.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Have a degree in English or related subject
• Be committed to promoting safeguarding and welfare of children and young people
• Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Having some experience of teaching Humanities to Key Stage 3 would be beneficial
