Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager that will act as the primary liaison for engineers and address any issues and operational queries that may arise. You will be responsible for identifying any areas for continuous improvements, improving engineering utilisation, and supporting the wider people and operational strategy to ensure resilience across the engineering team and business.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Maintain and manage engineer audits
  • Liaise with the Service and Maintenance Manager to implement any process changes as required
  • Evaluate and facilitate engineering training requirements
  • Check engineers' equipment is safe (PAT, Calibration and Ladder Checks)
  • Check engineer plant against the plant register
  • Identify areas for continuous improvements and improve engineering utilisation to maximise operational efficiency
  • Follow the Company's business plan and growth strategy, ensuring engineering operations support organisational objectives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Company's management systems and the requirements of ISO 45001,14001, 27001, and 9001 standards
  • Support delivery of resilience across the engineering function and wider business
Key experience / Qualifications:
  • Be able to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of Fire and Security Systems
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of maintaining and repairing the above systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a high level of IT Literacy
  • High attention to detail and strong written documentation skills
  • Full UK driving licence required

  • Understand and follow TIS policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate and promotes the Company's core values and premium service standards
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK
