An excellent opportunity has arisen for a "developing" Secretary to work for one of the UK's Largest Pension Trustee in Nottingham. Working within a supportive and collegiate team environment with a wide range of experience to help you work through client matters as required.
What they are offering:
- Hybrid working - 3 days a week home working flexible
- Salary25-35k depending on the level of experience
- Holiday 25 days + bank holidays plus Xmas shutdown
- Full-time - permanent flexible start and finish times 37.5 hours a week

Summarised Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to the lead Secretaries on the larger and more complex clients, acting as a second point of contact to the Trustees and key stakeholders.
- Support the efficient and timely delivery of services to clients on schemes were appointed as Scheme Secretary, monitoring actions and service levels.
- When required, represent the Secretarial team at Trustee meetings, client review meetings, and any other client-related meetings, on schemes were appointed as Scheme Secretary.
- Act as cover and point of contact on all schemes and client-related projects on the Secretarial and Support team
- Support the lead Scheme Secretary in completing the reporting of risk and compliance documents
The ideal candidate:
- Ideally but not essential a basic knowledge of UK occupational pension schemes (DB, DC, or Hybrid), including the role of trustees and sponsors
- A desire to develop the experience and skills to take the lead on secretarial appointments.
- Ability to manage time effectively and ensure delivery of services to prescribed deadlines.
- Ability to support all key stakeholders whether that is the lead secretary, Trustees, scheme members, advisers, or senior company representatives.
- Secretarial/ Administration experience
- Ability / Willingness to develop skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to prioritise, organise and carry out tasks within deadlines
