We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Terrace Team at The Lanesborough.

Candidate Profile

As Deputy Terrace Manager, you will take pride in delivering refined hospitality, with a natural ability to engage guests and build meaningful, long standing relationships. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the opening of a new terrace within the hotel, contributing to the creation of a distinctive guest experience from its very beginning. You will support the day to day management of the terrace, ensuring service is consistently courteous, professional and attentive. You will be visible on the floor, leading by example and ensuring each guest interaction reflects the elegance and service standards of the hotel. You will play an active role in shaping the culture of the team, encouraging thoughtful ideas and supporting collaboration across the wider Food & Beverage department. Developing the skills and confidence of the bar team will be central to your role, through effective training, coaching and mentoring. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require covering a variety of shifts.

Key Requirements
  • Supervisory or managerial bar experience in a luxury establishment essential and experience within London is desired.
  • Excellent beverage product knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred.
  • Immaculate grooming standards.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
  • Confident with various procedures such as performance reviews, recruitment and training.
  • Please note this role may require an element of manual handling.
