About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. From maintaining high-quality care standards to motivating your team, your role will be vital in shaping a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the overall management of the home, ensuring resident well-being is always the top priority
• Lead by example, mentoring and guiding a team of healthcare professionals
• Oversee care planning-conducting regular reviews and ensuring plans reflect individual needs
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards
• Play a key role in recruitment, rota management, and staff development
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
• Assist with budget management, reporting, and general administration
• Foster a culture of empathy, respect, and excellence in care delivery

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN
• Previous experience in a Deputy Home Manager or senior nursing role
• A solid understanding of CQC standards and compliance frameworks
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-first mindset
• Experience in safeguarding and referral pathways
• A passion for person-centred care and supporting residents with complex needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals to deliver holistic care
