Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Marketing & Events team. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making across audience targeting and event performance. The successful candidate will manage our Clay AI tool to build precise B2B audience segments and deliver weekly reporting and insights across all events.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Clay AI platform to identify, segment, and build high-value B2B target audiences.
• Reference and apply methodologies from the B2B Data Build Playbook to ensure consistent and scalable audience creation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine audience criteria based on campaign goals and performance feedback.
• Maintain data hygiene and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Event Reporting & Insights

• Run a standardized weekly reporting suite across all events
• Analyze attendee data to deliver insights on:
  • Company type breakdown (e.g., industry, size, region)
  • Seniority retention (e.g., repeat attendance by executive level)
  • Engagement trends and conversion metrics
  • Identify data gaps by analyzing TAM, SAM, SOM
• Partner with event leads to integrate findings into marketing plans and optimize future event strategies.
• Visualize data using dashboards and storytelling techniques to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a B2B marketing or events context.
• Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with AI-driven data platforms (experience with Clay AI is a plus).
• Strong understanding of audience segmentation, marketing funnels, and event KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
