Commercial Solicitor

Role - Commercial Solicitor.

Working as a Commercial Solicitor in our client's well-established and award-winning legal team, you will have genuine opportunities to influence and interact with customers and business stakeholders across the company.

You will take part in customer calls with the sales and commercial teams, review and negotiate customer contracts, provide ad hoc legal advice on wider commercial matters, help deliver contract training to stakeholders, and support the development and implementation of new processes, procedures and precedents. Responsibilities

• Take part in customer calls with the sales and commercial teams
• Review and negotiate customer contracts
• Provide ad hoc legal advice on wider commercial matters
• Help deliver contract training to stakeholders
• Support the development and implementation of new processes, procedures and precedents

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' PQE commercial solicitor who can provide pragmatic, commercial and jargon-free legal advice to colleagues at all levels of the business
• Strong foundation in commercial law and practical experience advising on, and negotiating, customer and supplier contracts (including data processing provisions)
• In-house experience (through employment or secondment) is beneficial but not a prerequisite

Working arrangements

The company offers hybrid and flexible working, with the legal team typically in the office 2-3 days per week. There is flexibility around start/finish times.
