Job Description:Clinical Team LeaderEast London, E14 5NYPermanent, Full time (37.5 hours)Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday workCompetitive SalaryAbout the New Canary Wharf Specialist Diagnostics & Dental CentreOpening in 2026, the Canary Wharf Centre at 50 Bank Street will be one of Bupa's most advanced clinical facilities. This purpose built Specialist Diagnostics & Dental Centre has been designed to support clinical excellence and modern, patient centred care.The centre will house cutting-edge diagnostic capabilities, including MRI and CT scanning, X ray and mammography, all within a contemporary environment that enables efficient and seamless patient pathways.A wide range of services will be delivered onsite, including orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, dermatology, and ENT, with capacity for procedures to be performed in house. Additional services will include cardiology, urology, ophthalmology, neurology, as well as primary care such as private GP appointments, women's health plans, physiotherapy, dental care and health assessments.This new development reflects our ambition to grow Bupa's clinical footprint and transform the healthcare markets we operate in - offering greater choice, improved access and more connected, end to end care. Most patients will be able to receive diagnostics, consultations and follow on care under one roof, with integrated referrals within the wider Bupa network when needed.We make health happenAs a Clinical Team Leader within Bupa's Diagnostics & Secondary Care services at this flagship new site, you'll play a key role in shaping how high quality, safe and compassionate care is delivered. Working within a modern, multidisciplinary environment, you'll support clinical teams, elevate standards and help ensure every patient has an exceptional experience.How you'll help us make health happenProvide visible, supportive clinical leadership, role modelling high standards of care.Coordinate secondary care clinical areas to ensure safe, effective patient pathways and smooth daily operations.Support staffing, shift leadership and service continuity alongside the Clinical Unit Manager.Drive quality improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance clinical care.Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure compliance with evidence based practice.Manage and support staff through challenging situations, complaints and complex clinical scenarios.Promote a strong customer service culture across the clinical team.Contribute to governance through audits, incident reviews, and embedding learning across the team.Coach, mentor and support the development of junior team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.Support efficient clinical scheduling, rota management and service delivery to improve patient experience.Key Skills / QualificationsEssentialRegistered Nurse with active NMC registration.Strong clinical experience with evidence of leading shifts or teams.Experience supporting quality improvement, incident management and change.Experience within outpatient/diagnostic or multi specialty services.Excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills.Confident user of Microsoft 365.DesirableLeadership qualification or working towards one.Experience developing protocols, supporting training or contributing to research.BenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
