We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Clinical Governance Team Lead to join our dedicated team. This is a key leadership role, supporting the Head of Clinical Governance to ensure we deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care to our patients and their loved ones.
Main duties of the jobAs Clinical Governance Team Lead, you will: Play a central role in supporting the delivery of our governance agenda, ensuring a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and learning. Lead and support your team, helping them grow through coaching, training, and regular reviews. Work alongside clinical leads to make sure our services meet the highest standards and comply with national guidelines. Oversee clinical audits, patient safety reviews, and risk management processes, ensuring that learning translates into meaningful improvements. Contribute to the development of our Quality Governance Framework and support the evidence we provide to regulators like the CQC. Champion an open, fair, and inclusive culture, where staff feel empowered to raise concerns and share ideas.

Job responsibilities- An experienced healthcare professional with knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, or patient safety.
- Confident in leading people, with the ability to inspire and support a small team.
- Skilled in analysing information and turning it into practical improvements.
- A strong communicator who can work with colleagues at every level.
- Passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and committed to creating a culture where everyone feels they belong.
- To be educated to post graduate level or relevant experience in clinical governance
- Registered Nurse / AHP or equivalent
