Catering Manager - Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Freemans Event Partners is seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Events Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of our catering service, ensuring excellence in quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction during major sporting and entertainment events.

Hours & Contract: This is a casual, event-based position, with shifts scheduled according to the stadium's event calendar. Once registered, you'll have access to our scheduling app, where you can view and sign up for upcoming shifts.

Pay: £16 per hour

About the Role:

As a Catering Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of our catering units, leading and supporting your team to deliver high-quality food and service. You'll manage stock, logistics, and team performance while maintaining full compliance with food safety and health regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

  • Proven experience in catering or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards; HACCP certification desirable.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and available for evening, weekend, and event shifts.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional service and quality.
  • Oversee catering operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and top-quality food.
  • Lead and motivate catering staff to perform at their best.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Manage stock levels, logistics, and event setup/breakdown.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients and event organisers.
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle cash management and reporting as required.
