While our legacy has been providing on-premises software, we're also embracing the opportunities presented by cloud services and taking advantage of them.Leading the client to success in its implementation is key, and this is achieved through the delivery of high levels of service to ensure Aderant builds lasting relationships with clients. You will partner with various clients, all with differing requirements, and will need to display an ability to drive the process forward, advise on best practice and challenge client assumptions of how to successfully execute their project.The successful candidate must have experience in software implementation projects involving financial reporting, strong communication, leadership and analytical skills, and must work to high standards while maintaining the ability to "get the job done" within deadlines. Teamwork is necessary, as is the ability to work without direct supervision. Responsibilities Advise clients on best practice implementation utilising Aderant software. Partner with clients throughout the stages of the project including advising on design and configuration, providing training and assisting with a smooth go live. Serve as primary business consultant and subject matter expert for Aderant Expert. Work closely with client IT and Aderant Cloud and Support teams to triage data or reporting issues, performing SQL queries and troubleshooting where required. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, liaising effectively with developers and system administrators. Understand system integrations and APIs at a conceptual level, ensuring smooth data flows between Aderant and client systems. Provide guidance on configuration and reporting, including resolving data mapping or validation issues. Maintain product and sector knowledge by training and involvement in projects and peer reviews. Resolve client queries and assist with configuration of modules. Update, provide and draft documentation relating to client needs around processes and functional design. Essential Skills and Experience To be considered for this role, it is critical that you possess one or more of the following: Experience of finance systems and finance processes in the UK and Europe. Experience of Business Intelligence and reporting processes. Experience of working in a law firm and an understanding of law firm processes.It is also essential that you possess: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive projects forward. Experience of legal or financial software implementation projects. Excellent communication skills and confidence, with all levels of seniority. Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting. Ability to investigate technical issues at a triage level and collaborate with IT/development teams for resolution. Awareness of APIs and system integrations, with the ability to discuss technical topics confidently with client IT stakeholders. Conceptual understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS-based delivery models. Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision. Desirable Skills Exposure to scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation or data handling.
