BIM Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced BIM Manager to join a major steel-sector project in Sweden. This is a long-term opportunity for a BIM professional with strong leadership experience, responsible for driving BIM strategy, governance, coordination, and delivery across a large multidisciplinary project.

This is a management-focused role rather than a hands-on modelling position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the project's BIM strategy.
• Ensure BIM standards, processes, and project requirements are met.
• Coordinate BIM activities across engineering disciplines, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee model coordination, clash management, reporting, and BIM performance.
• Manage BIM governance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive BIM best practices and collaborative working across the project.

Requirements

• Degree qualified Engineer or Architect.
• 6+ years' BIM experience, including experience in a BIM Manager or BIM Lead role.
• Proven background on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Knowledge of IFC and BIM interoperability standards.
• Experience producing BIM reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
