Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioners NHST Bank

Salary scale: Band 7

Opportunities have arisen for motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join the staff bank and work with the multidisciplinary team delivering unscheduled primary care to the population of Tayside in the Out of Hours period. GP Out of Hours offers a rewarding, flexible and supportive working environment in our Primary Care Emergency Centres with opportunities for Face to Face patient assessment, home visiting and telephone triage and consultations.

As an experienced autonomous practitioner, you should be able to undertake a high level of clinical assessment in order to address undifferentiated illness.

It is essential that applicants hold a Post Graduate Diploma in advanced practice with evidence of undertaking courses relevant to the advanced practice pathway at level 11, including, Advanced Clinical Assessment and Independent Non Medical Prescribing annotated by the NMC. Applicants should have completed or be working towards completion of an Urgent & Primary Care Competency Assessment Framework, along with experience of working in a Primary Care service.
