Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates top talent, supporting the building of an engaged, empowered, and market-leading team.
• Champions, role models and encourages a culture in line with their Company principles and behaviours.
• Delivers Pricing reinsurance terms, with strong leadership skills and resource management. Ensures work is performed effectively including a focus on pragmatism.
• Leads robust challenge to assumptions, processes, and strategy within Pricing and around the Company ensuring that everyone has a voice and discussions are organized to reach consensus

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualified experience in life (re)insurance pricing in a market facing role(s) in (re)insurance with a strong background in the UK and Irish Protection markets
• Skilled influencer/communicator with demonstrable confidence, maturity and gravitas in a wide range of settings, including with senior stakeholders internally and externally
• Excellent understanding of actuarial principles and processes; strong knowledge of Company risks and market landscape
• Highly commercial and able to negotiate with skill in challenging situations whilst maintaining the integrity of working relationships
