Job Summary

We are recruiting an Administrator to support the wider healthcare team at HMP Rye Hill, a Category C prison located in Rugby. Responsibilities include GP referrals, email responses, scanning/filing, data entry, and general administrative enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of administration services to the healthcare team on site.
• Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases, waiting lists, call up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, and performing general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning, etc.

Hours and Salary

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Annual salary up to £28,574 per annum

Qualifications

• English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A non judgemental and compassionate approach.
• Good IT skills and IT literacy.
• Ability to work within a busy environment.
