We are currently recruiting for an office-based Administrator to join our small, friendly and hard-working team at our office in Swindon. The role is available immediately on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 20 hours per week worked across Monday to Friday). It is essential that applicants have solid administrative experience and skills, preferably within a similar industry.

The Administrator role encompasses the following duties:-

Duties

  • Receive, sort and deal with mail (ingoing and outgoing), and deliveries.
  • Scanning and attaching to systems, photocopying.
  • Ensure common areas such as meeting rooms and kitchen are clean and presentable at all times.
  • Support the team with administration and ad-hoc requests.
  • Meet and greet visitors.
  • Make refreshments (hot and cold drinks, organising lunches if requested).
  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls.
  • Take messages accurately and relay the messages immediately.
  • Provide information to callers.

Requisite Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Professional and strong written and spoken English;
  • Administrative experience;
  • Ability to easily learn back-office software;
  • Welcoming, helpful and friendly demeanour;
  • Have a helpful and "can-do' approach;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • Proactive attitude and ability to prioritise;
  • Excellent timekeeping and punctuality;
  • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidence and discretion is essential;
  • Capable of working alone or part of a team.

This list is not exhaustive and the Administrator may be requested to carry out any reasonable duty to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.
