Job Description

Due to consistent growth, this high profile and client based Water Treatment / Legionella Company is actively seeking a high calibre, self motivated and ambitious Water Treatment Service Delivery Manager in or around the Reading area. The ideal candidate would have a strong knowledge within the Water Treatment Industry and will have demonstrable experience working in a service delivery role. Consideration will be given to applications from Basingstoke, Aldershot, Bracknell, Newbury and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the delivery of water treatment services.
  • Providing commercial guidance and technical support to both administrative and sales functions when and as needed.
  • Ensuring that Water Treatment Services are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.
  • Liaising with the customer service team, supply chains and consultants.
  • Keeping a weekly review of KPI's and the forecasts to ensure they are in line with what the business expects.
  • Acting in a proactive manner to improve services and performances.
  • Supporting, managing and motivating the field technicians.
  • Providing annual appraisals and arranging training where needed.
  • Delivering profitability targets through management of the field team against the budget and as modified by the management team.
  • Providing clear instructions, delegating effectively and responsibly, and organising staff under your control.
  • Supporting project managers/consultants as needed and taking the lead as PM on allocated projects.
  • Ensuring that the correct process is being followed during all engagements.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and reports are completed within the correct time frame.
  • Liaising daily with Operation Managers on the key tasks and providing support with the production of monthly reports.
  • Producing quotes, pursuing purchase orders when needed and providing telephone support that is both technical and nontechnical.
  • Ensuring all work is being delivered in line with QHSE objectives and to technical standards.
  • Completing site surveys.
  • Attending customer meetings.
