DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and autonomous Technical Brand Experience Designer to join our Creative & Design team. This senior role is responsible for translating brand-led concepts into technically robust, production-ready designs that can be executed across retail, pop-ups, activations, and brand-owned spaces.
As the technical lead within our Brand Experience pod, you will manage the full end-to-end process: from producing CADs and technical packs, through to material specification, supplier liaison, prototyping, and installation.
You'll work closely with the Brand Experience Team, who lead on 3D concepting and merchandising vision, to ensure creative ideas are developed into feasible, scalable, and globally consistent executions.
In addition to technical design, you will create merchandising rollout plans and VM guidelines to support in-store execution across all markets, ensuring our product storytelling and brand presence are consistently elevated. This role requires someone highly self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and confident managing projects, timelines, and relationships independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design & Technical Development- Translate brand-led concepts into technical retail designs that can be prototyped and built.
- Produce detailed technical drawings, 3D CADs, and construction packs for fixtures, gondolas, pop-ups, and brand-owned retail environments.
- Specify materials, finishes, and production methods in line with brand, sustainability, and cost requirements.
- Partner with Brand Experience during early-stage 3D concepting to ensure creative intent is feasible.
- Lead projects end-to-end, from brief through to production and installation, managing all timelines, deliverables, and communication.
- Oversee sampling, prototyping, and approvals to safeguard design integrity and technical feasibility.
- Act as the technical lead with suppliers, manufacturers, and installation partners, ensuring delivery on time, to spec, and to budget.
- Translate fixture and space designs into clear merchandising toolkits and VM guidelines.
- Develop planograms and rollout documents that guide in-market teams on product placement and storytelling.
- Partner with commercial and regional teams to support local adaptation and execution.
- Troubleshoot in-market execution challenges, ensuring global consistency in customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Brand Marketing, Retail, and Commercial teams to align on briefs and launches.
- Manage strong working relationships with external suppliers, fabricators, and installers.
- Communicate risks and solutions clearly, ensuring all stakeholders are updated at every stage.
- Create and maintain technical guidelines, fixture standards, and retail design toolkits.
- Uphold brand integrity and premium execution across all physical environments globally.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
- 6-8+ years' experience in technical design for retail or experiential environments (beauty, fashion, or lifestyle preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software (Vectorworks, Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong technical knowledge of materials, finishes, and production processes.
- Proven track record of managing retail projects end-to-end (design production install).
- Ability to create merchandising rollout packs and VM guidelines. Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently under pressure.
