As Team Leader - Building, you'll lead and manage the Development Services Building Team to deliver high-quality building and construction services. You'll champion a positive culture, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. Your leadership will drive efficiency, innovation, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and rebuild team structure to enhance performance and morale
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee building consent processes and ensure legislative compliance
- Deliver expert advice to Council, customers, and staff
- Manage projects and supervise staff and consultants
- Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying or Construction Management
- Accredited Professional Building Level 1 (or eligible) under the PDI Act Accreditation Scheme
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for culture building and team development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
