Team Leader - Motor Claims

Location: Epsom - Fully office based

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and dynamic Team Leader to manage the administration and progression of claims.

You'll be the driving force behind a high-performing team, ensuring SLA's and KPI's are smashed, processes are followed to the letter, and claims are handled with speed, accuracy, and care.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work with limited guidance from senior management, taking full ownership of your team's output and development.

You'll be expected to lead from the front, make informed decisions, and continuously raise the bar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the efficient handling of On Hire claims, ensuring files are progressed swiftly and diligently.
  • Assign and monitor daily staff duties, boosting productivity and performance.
  • Personally oversee complex claims and ensure timely resolution.
  • Authorise CRs and third-party R&S invoices with precision.
  • Manage HR duties including appraisals, absence, performance, and development.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and GDPR.
  • Resolve complaints within 48 hours or escalate appropriately.
  • Champion customer service excellence and process improvement.
  • Play a key role in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Deliver high-level reporting and consistently hit KPIs.
