Field of activity

The "DRV Bund IT" is the service provider for the German Federal Pension Insurance and develops and operates a complex IT system landscape in close coordination with the customer. With our central IT services, we are responsible for the areas of middle server level, application operation of the core system, Microsoft infrastructure, development environment and tools as well as container technology.
IT4IT creates a transparent overview of all IT development and operating tools and the services provided with them. This ensures the link between the strategy and the specific IT service portfolio for IT employees. As a central unit, the "IT4IT" specialist domain enables high-quality, predictable and cost-effective IT services to support the specialist work of the DRV Bund's IT employees.

Your tasks
  • Contribute to the creation of standards and guidelines for DRV Bund-IT
  • Assuming technical and partly functional product responsibility for software products from the development area
  • Creating IT-related analyses, developing and implementing concepts and IT systems as well as coordinating, planning and implementing IT processes
  • Monitoring and controlling IT processes, problem analysis and troubleshooting
  • Planning, conceptualizing and documenting IT operating procedures and processing customer requirements
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring IT security and IT quality assurance measures
  • Preparing and carrying out instruction measures and participating in project or working groups and committees (also across institutions)
Your profile
  • Successfully completed higher education (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field or an equivalent qualification (e.g. IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT field or comparable practical experience in the IT field with many years of professional experience
  • Several years of task-relevant professional experience in IT, in the environment of Windows client systems, service desk or product owner
  • Knowledge and broad range of experience with development tools and their provision
  • Professional experience in the public sector is an advantage
  • You like to solve problems and proactively bring about improvements
  • Ability to work in a team and a confident manner towards other specialist teams
  • Organizational strength, resilience, a high degree of assertiveness and strong self-motivation round off your profile
