Job Description

ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 18,000 PC workstations. Together with our 400 colleagues, we also run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system.

To strengthen our team in area 3202 - Operation of ERV, eFile & cross-sectional procedures, we are looking for one of the following as soon as possible

System administrator for the cross-sectional procedures of the electronic justice file (f/m/d)

Department 3202 is based in Hanover. Your place of work can be flexibly assigned to a judicial authority close to your home in Lower Saxony.

Your tasks:
  • As part of the team, you will administer the centrally operated cross-sectional applications for the electronic justice file. You will ensure the provision of the new, fully digital workplace at the courts and public prosecutor's offices.
  • You are part of the third-level support, carry out error analyses and troubleshooting and optimize the use of the systems in the Lower Saxony judiciary.
  • You will work on justice IT projects to integrate new software products and for the operation of future IT solutions.
  • You will be involved in the design, configuration and administration of the central virtual server systems required for the operation of applications, including databases and application servers, as well as in the design and optimization of processes.
  • You visualize and document the project and work results.
What sets you apart:
  • A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent practical skills and experience in the IT environment
  • Profound knowledge of the Microsoft universe (e.g. Active Directory, Power Shell, IIS) as well as in the administration of Windows server and client operating systems, the implementation of web services and common application servers
  • Good knowledge of relational database systems such as MS SQL Server and/or Oracle in operation in medium and large IT environments
  • Ideally basic knowledge of the distribution of client software, Citrix systems and the ITIL framework

  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation
  • German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills
  • Willingness to travel on business within Lower Saxony
  • the willingness to carry out a successful security check in accordance with 7 para. 1 of the Nds. SÜG
