Junction 14 Mayfield, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare is now seeking a positive and energetic Supervisor to join our team.

The purpose of the Supervisor role is to provide day to day front line management to ensure high standards are met in the successful running of the Spar Shop at Junction 14 Mayfield.

Main Duties

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of cashier operators
• Handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to store procedures
• Open and close the store
• Ensure staff dress and appearance adhere to company policy
• Maintain in depth knowledge of relevant legislations (Health & Safety, Employment, Consumer Law)
• Ensure proper liaison between staff and management
• Provide the highest standard of customer care
• Assist in induction, training and development of staff
• Enforce company rules, policies and procedures
• Ensure adequate timekeeping and attendance of staff members
• Attend any training or development programmes as directed by store management
• Live the brand values and encourage others to do the same
• Place orders
• Carry out any other duties as directed by store management

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Supervisor position
• Strong general leadership and people skills
• Excellent communication skills and solution focused with high drive and positive attitude
• Customer focus: prioritise customers, resolve concerns effectively
• Personal drive: proactive, confident, attention to detail
