As a Band 6 Specialist Generalist Podiatrist, you will:- Deliver high-quality podiatric care across a range of settings, including hospital clinics, community locations, and domiciliary visits.
- Manage high-risk foot conditions and contribute to foot protection services.
- Provide musculoskeletal (MSK) and general podiatry care.
- Support active foot disease management, wound care, and preventative interventions.
- Work collaboratively with experienced podiatrists and the wider AHP team to deliver integrated, person centred care.
- Contribute to service development, digital innovation, and quality improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional who can bring expertise and enthusiasm to our team. You will have:
- Substantial experience in general or specialist podiatry.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel across Orkney.
This post will be based at The Balfour
The successful candidate will work Full Time 37 hours per week

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is Band 6 £41,608 - £50,702 and if residing on Orkney, youll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,654 pro rata per annum, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
